Oscar Bolton Green
Un Sedicesimo 25b
Everyday Drawings
Oscar Bolton Green is the author of Un Sedicesimo 25b. This young illustrator has chosen the theme "having fun drawing everything you touch and see". The pages are filled with little signs/drawings of objects typical of life in the city: traffic lights, a car racing by, a parking meter, or else, a bedside light, the knob on the coffee grinder, our favourite chair, and so on. Drawing is unbounded pleasure, a free zone where the imagination can be let off the leash, and an occasion to improve your technique by trying out new subjects and instruments. This issue of Un Sedicesimo is populated with ideas that tumble on to the page from Oscar’s pen.
Oscar Bolton Green was born in London in 1988 and graduated from Camberwell College of Arts (London) in 2010. Since then Oscar has been working on a variety of projects, making designs for books, magazines, advertising, animations and exhibitions. Drawing from both observation and memory, Oscar’s work is an evolving mixture of simple details, humorous moments and nosey characters.
