"Non verbis sed rebus" (not with words, but with things). The rebus is a visual game that has kept us amused since the Middle Ages: a vignette, some mysterious drawings to interpret, a riddle to solve. In Un Sedicesimo 35A, the American artist Danielle Kroll revisits that most iconic and graphic of puzzles.

Danielle Kroll is an artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Tyler School of Art in 2009 and proceeded to work in Anthropologie’s Art Department in Philadelphia. Currently Danielle works for herself on a variety of collaborations with small business, large business, magazines and publications. No matter what the project, everything she creates is hand-done and made with love. Her whimsical style and playful subject-matter aims to bring smiles to grumpy faces everywhere.
