Marion Pinaffo & Raphaël Pluvinage
Un Sedicesimo 65
Affiches Artifices is a series of 11 posters to be ignited, resulting in explosive animations. Each poster is a little spectacle of fire, flares and sparks, printed on paper and combining several pyrotechnic powders.
Graphical and technical research at the same time, the graphic language was defined both for its aesthetic value and the sequences of animation it will then produce.
The singular practice of the Pinaffo—Pluvinage duo is involved in several fields such as toys, interactive installations, objects or scenography. Whatever the scale or the context, their work is always articulated around the search for interaction aesthetics. Their graphic sensibilities and their taste for intuitive uses have led them to create surprising though approachable work, allowing us to observe phenomena that may seem complex at first.
