Lewis Bush
Un Sedicesimo 71
Notebooks form an important part of Bush’s practice, as a place to record information gathered in the field, or experiment with ideas for projects. Now numbering well over a hundred notebooks filled over the last ten years, each cover is decorated with whatever scrap paper is close at hand at the time.
Lewis Bush is a researcher whose work aims to visualise powerful agents, technologies, and practices, and the links that connect them. Trained as a social scientist and photographer, his work employs a range of research strategies, from in-depth interviews to open-source investigation. The resulting projects are shown across an array of media and platforms, using photography, text, video, data visualisation, exhibitions, books, films, and apps.
